We just wanted to say thankyou so much for everything last Saturday. We had the most perfect day and were so pleased with the way that everything worked out (I told you I had booked the weather!) Your hotel is so beautiful and we had have so many comments on how elegant and efficient everything was. The second bar was a brilliant idea and the food was absolutely incredible. Many of the comments in our guest book are about the food!! We will be coming in for dinner soon, because my dress was a bit restricting and I didn’t get to eat as much as I would’ve liked!!!
You made everything absolutely perfect for us, as we know that it wasn’t a conventional wedding, and we had quite different ideas to a lot of couples, but the service was so amazing, and your team really do work so hard.

We will be recommending Fallowfields at every available opportunity!

Just a little note to thank you all for a wonderful day – it was perfection! We have received so much praise from friends and family who thoroughly enjoyed the whole Fallowfields experience.

I would have no hesitation recommending Fallowfields in the future. The food was outstanding, thank you Chef.
The rooms were beautiful, although we did not spend any length of time in them. The ambience of the whole place was very calm. All the staff were excellent throughout the day and into the evening. We partied well into the early hours and did not want it to end.

* I must add that we are not organic as this is a word we can only  be authorised to use by the Soil Association. What we are is “mimum intervention”. If I have a serious problem for example with one of our animals, I will use the appropriate antibiotics as prescribed by the vet.

Emma and David held their wedding reception at Fallowfields last night. Here they are leaving this morning. And this is what they had to say about their wedding day with us

I came across this on a web site somewhere. It might suit a military minded couple!!……and it might cause havoc with my drive. So although we really do try not to say “no” to a bride getting married here…..might have to ask for drive way reparations to be put on your tab!

I love December weddings….there is all the excitement of the wedding itself plus the pre Christmas and New year anticipation too.

If you were a guest at a Fallowfields wedding, wouldn’t you appreciate a view over the Oxfordshire countryside  like this whilst enjoying our superb food?

Weddings at Fallowfields Country House Hotel are always lovely no matter the time of year. However a glorious sunny Oxfordshire day does give us the opportunity of encouraging your guests [most guests never need that much encouraging] onto the croquet lawn for their post wedding ceremony cocktail.
