Windrush – Room 1

Windrush is a pretty Queen-size bedded room which overlooks the front of the Hotel, trees, acacias, garden, lawns and ox barn. It has an en-suite bathroom power shower. This room is in the front of the hotel and there may be the odd car parked in the car park.

This bedroom is named after the river Windrush which flows for about 40 miles into the Thames at Newbridge, just about 2.5 miles north of us. A walk is available from the hotel to Newbridge, although the pubs there are not highly recommended unfortunately  The river waters can be fished for trout and grayling, and were used by the famous blanket making industry in Witney. The Witney [holey type] blanket is known throughout the world.
