Fallowfields is located 20 minutes drive from the ancient city of Oxford. A bus stop right outside the hotel with buses into and out of Oxford every 30 mins. Alternatively the Park and Ride is 15 mins drive with free parking. There are many attractions  http://www.visitoxfordandoxfordshire.com.

 

Film and TV

Many and varied are Oxford and Oxfordshire’s film and TV locations. Blenheim  Palace

The Cotswolds

White Horse at Uffington

20 minutes drive on the Ridgeway escarpment lies White Horse Hill and below it lies Dragon Hill where St. George slew the dragon.  On the hill above -the highest point in Oxfordshire - an iron Age hillfort Uffington Castle which was re-created by the Romans during there occupation and between the castle and the Horse lie a number of Neolithic and Bronze Ages burial mounds.

 

 

Cotswold Wildlife Park

Enjoy the delights at this wonderful 160 acre of parkland with a large collection of animals and ‘Theatre with Plants’ gardens which is only 35 mins drive from Fallowfields.
