Our Food Philosophy

The farm is being integrating into the kitchen way of life. It has been a long process as, a “field to fork” regime is unknown to most chefs. It needs a passion for produce, far above that of most chefs who readily state a partiality to locally sourced sustainable food that is not always born out in practice.
Here at Fallowfields Country House Hotel we passionately believe in respecting the food we eat and, if we are controlling our own food chain, we can show maximum respect to our charges. We produce real food with real taste, reared with love, in as sustainable manner possible.

Creating a true connection with ‘real’ food is a way of life at Fallowfields. The aim is for your vegetables and herbs to be served within hours, if not minutes of harvesting and all ingredients are selected for their taste. In addition, bread is freshly made every day and biscuits, scones, cakes, chutneys and jams are also produced in our kitchens
