Our first “pudding evening” was a triumph

by Fallowfields on March 18, 2012

On the 15th March we held our very first Oxfordshire pudding evening. Twenty two people sat down to a light main course…..slow roasted Fallowfields Tamworth pork and then followed the main event…..

Six desserts, in the following order:-

Frozen lemon posset with red grape fizzy jelly in a caramel hoop
White chocolate parfait with pecan and dark chocolate macaroon
Chocolate and espresso mousse with gru de cacao
Smoked ice cream with cherry and chocolate soil
Lemon meringue pie
Orange marmalade soufflé with toast ice cream [my favourite]

Do tell me in the comments below, which would have been your favourite.

Sounds amazing! I’m often know to close friends and family as ‘Double Dessert Deb’ because I often can’t choose between one dessert and another, so I have two! Being in the ‘pudding club’ and trying a bit of each would be my idea of Heaven.

I don’t think I’ve tried any of them. May have served them to guests. Would have loved to have been there to try the deserts.
